Absolutely beautiful – exactly what I expected!
I ordered this Kolu Amman Doll for Navarathri and it arrived perfectly packaged. The craftsmanship is stunning — the colours are vibrant and the detailing on the crown and jewellery is very fine. My puja room looks so beautiful with this 15 inch doll. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic traditional piece.
Perfect for Golu display — great quality
We have been setting up kolu for over 20 years and this Amman doll is one of the best we have purchased online. The finish is smooth, the idol stands well without any support, and the size is perfect as the centrepiece. Delivery was fast too. Will definitely order more dolls from Sri Atchayam for next year!
Good product, packaging could be better
The doll itself is very pretty and looks exactly like the photos. The painting is neat and the colours are rich. My only feedback is that the packaging could use a little more bubble wrap — one corner had a very slight scuff. But overall I am happy with my purchase and the customer service was responsive when I asked about delivery.
Worth every rupee — divine quality
This is the second time I am buying from Sri Atchayam and I am never disappointed. The Kolu Amman Doll at 15 inches is the perfect height — not too big, not too small. The traditional painting style with bright red, gold and green colours brings so much energy to our Golu steps. My mother in law specifically said it looks like a museum-quality piece!

Lovely doll — slight colour variation from photo
The doll is really beautiful and the size is perfect. I noticed the shade of the saree is slightly more orange than it appears in the product photo, but honestly it still looks gorgeous. The gold detailing on the crown is very intricate. Overall a great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone setting up their Golu this season.
Authentic traditional doll — 100% satisfied
I specifically searched for a doll that had that old-school traditional look, not the modern plastic ones. This Kolu Amman Doll is exactly that. The clay finish, hand-painted details, and sturdy base make it a real showstopper on the kolu steps. Ordered 5 days before Navarathri and it arrived on time. Cannot ask for more!
Good but one paint chip on delivery
The doll design is very nice and I love the traditional Amman look. However, when I opened the package there was a small paint chip near the base, which was disappointing. I contacted the store and they were polite and offered a partial refund. The doll still looks fine displayed on the steps but I hope quality control improves. Three stars for now but I may order again given the good customer service.
My kids are in love with this doll!
We bought this doll along with a few others for our kolu arrangement. My daughters aged 7 and 10 immediately fell in love with the Amman doll and kept asking why we have to put it on the steps and not play with it! It is that beautiful. The quality is top notch, the size at 15 inches gives it a commanding presence on the top step. Excellent purchase!
Best Golu doll I've found online
I've tried many online shops for Golu dolls and most of them send cheap quality items that look nothing like the photos. Sri Atchayam is different — what you see is what you get. The Traditional Kolu Amman Doll is beautifully finished, the colours are exactly as shown, and it arrived well within the expected time. This will be a permanent fixture in our annual Navarathri Golu. Thank you!
